Christmas

DISCLAIMER: IF YOU’RE NOT FAMILY, THIS POST WILL BE PAINFULLY BORING.  WELL, PROBABLY.

Okay, So here’s a summary of events.  Sorry for the long video, but we’re still recovering from the chaos a bit, and I’m also sick of editing because I’ve made quite a few too quickly lately.  Gotta figure out how to balance my time working on these things, but I wanted to get it posted before the holidays are completely over. Especially since it’s a little bit of a buzz kill when Christmas is over, and everyone is exhausted from all the cooking, decorating, and cleaning.

SO,

Christmas Eve, Jonah and Zan opened their presents from Gabby.  It was fun telling them they could.  She was going to come down on Christmas Eve, but since Georgia has had a white Christmas this year, she didn’t want to leave her pooches in snowy weather.  They were stoked.  The video starts out with Jonah saying, “can I open it?”  Right before they started to open them, Hank broke out in some long story, and they couldn’t even pay attention because they wanted to open their presents so bad, but they didn’t want to be rude, so…

Then, Grandma and Poppy came by for a second.  She’s under the weather, but she came by to give Jude ONE of his presents.  She thought she was going to come by on Christmas Day too…but the sickness KICKED her butt.

After that, one of Hank’s good friends, Ho-Sheng Hsiaoe (but we call him Ho-sh), came by with Christmas Surprise, The Dangerous Book for Boys. It was really cool to play it late into the night so that we weren’t thinking about Christmas Morning!

We sang and sang and sang with Katie, Bruce, and Terelle.  Jude played all of his new instruments while we sang Frosty the Snowman and Jingle Bells.  I thought I was making a video of the entire thing, but only got the end with everyone cheering.  Oh well.

The next morning, Jude and I waited in the lobby for Grandpa.  It was so sweet how excited he was to see his Grandpa.  We opened the presents he brought us when he got a call that the roads were getting white, and so he had to get back home.

Then, we sadly said goodbye to Zan and Jonah, even though we know that they were only off to more presents and Grandparents.
